Rainy season in most parts of Nigeria is naturally characterized by a marked interruption in the 8th month called “August break” this represents a period devoid of rains lasting two to three weeks.
However, in a reversal of fortune August 2021 did not experience any lull in rainfall as downpours were recorded almost on a daily basis.
