Police Arrest Fleeing Nigerian suspected Murderer in Sierra Leone

Police in Sierra Leone have arrested 25-year-old Nnanyereugo Best, an indigene of Umuhaia in Abia State who was declared wanted for killing his girlfriend, Augusta Osedion, a student of Lead City University, Ibadan.

After committing the act, he spent over $25,000 purchasing a Sierra Leonean passport. His photo was posted on social media by the girl’s family after he fled the scene of murder.

Nnanyereugo changed his name to Kanu Princeton Samuel but was nabbed at a night club in Freetown on Friday after someone in the rendezvous identified him.

He would be repatriated to Nigeria to face his murder charge, in Lagos.
