Ondo Police Commissioner pledges to curb kidnapping, other crimes

Ondo State Commissioner of Police, Abiodun Asabi has assured residents of the state of adequate security of lives and property.

Asabi who gave the assurance while speaking with orange fm in akure said the state is not a safe haven for criminals.

The recent spate of insecurity across the country has left many Nigerians in palpable fears and anxiety

For this development, several states of the Federation are now imploring strategic security architecture to tackle the menace.

Recently, In Ondo State some worshipers were kidnapped at Ose local government area of the state, though their abductors later released them from captivity after several days.

Speaking on the issue, the State Commissioner of Police, Abiodun Asabi said no stone will be left unturned to check the trend.

On community relations to tackle cases of kidnapping and other criminal activities, the Police Boss said plans are underway to ensure strong and collaborative effort with the people.

He promised to collaborate with media organizations to deepen internal security stressing that the media must also strive to avoid fakes news always for societal Development.

Asabi said the command will continue to employ strategies that would completely wipe out all criminal activities from the state.
