How DSS, Ondo govt secured death penalty for kidnappers of Rev. Sisters four years after abduction

Four years after they kidnapped two Reverend sisters, Perpetual Apo and Bukola Funmilade as well as their driver, Zwugwa Zibai, at Onipetesi axis of the Ore-Lagos expressway, three members of a kidnap syndicate are to die by hanging.

Justice Aderemi Adegoroye of the Ondo State High Court gave the judgement convinced that the prosecution led by Babatunde Falodun, a Chief Legal Officer with the Ondo State Ministry of Justice has discharged the burden of proof in the case.

OSRC’s Shola Ilesanmi reports that the convicts and four others were arrested by the Department of State Services in July 2016 after they had collecting N1m ransom to release their abductees who spent about 11 days in captivity.
