A former commissioner for Agriculture in Ondo state and son of a former governor, Adegboyega Adefarati of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been declared winner of the House of Representatives election for Akoko South-west and Southeast federal constituency in Ondo state.
The former governor’s Son had 25,872 votes to win the PDP candidate who polled 18,403 votes.
The result was announced by the returning officer for the 2023 Akoko Southeast and Southwest Federal constituency Election in Ondo state, Prof. Ibukun Emmanuel Oluwafemi.
50,940 total votes accredited
APC scored 25,872 votes
PDP scored 18,403 votes.
