The Founder of Sotitobire Praising Chapel Akure, Prophet Babatunde Alfa and 5 church members are to spend the rest of their lives behind the bars after being found guilty following the disappearence of one-year-old Gold Kolawole in the church last year.
Justice Olusegun Odusola of the Ondo State High Court in Akure handed the sentence after finding them guilty of the two count charges preferred against them by the State based on circumstancial evidence.
OSRC’s Shola Ilesanmi reports that Justice Odusola however discharged and acquitted the 7th defendant, Peter Anjorin because the prosecution could not prove the charge of evidence destruction.
