Muslims in Akure, the Ondo state capital today observed the EID prayers to round off the 30-day Ramadan fast in their homes in perhaps for the first time in decades.
EID grounds in the metropolis were deserted, a year departure from bubbling past when faithful in colourful attire would jampack the venue.
