Ondo state is to get 1,228 COVID-19 vaccine doses in the proposed first phase of the distribution exercise that will be done by the end of January 2021.
Details and conditions for the distribution of 100,000 doses to states released by the National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA) at a virtual meeting with stakeholders revealed that frontline health workers will be the first set of beneficiaries.
OSRC’s Shola Ilesanmi reports that in addition to complaince to WHO guidelines, the vaccines will be certified fit for usage by NAFDAC.
