Ondo State Sports council is moving to position more of its athletes to represent the country in different international competitions lined up for 2022.
A number of spots are up for grabs for the state performers at the Commonwealth games in England and in different world championships.
OSRC’s Abiodun Adewale reports that Ondo state judo athletes are aiming for 10 slots in Nigeria’s Birmingham 2022 team while the state is also expected to feature an athlete in the first para badminton event at the National Sports Festival in Asaba, Delta State.
