Ondo residents want measures to prevent flooding

As the raining season fully set in, those living in flood-prone areas in Ondo state want governments to scale up efforts at preventing flooding. Residents of Ayedun quarters, Ijapo, Isolo, Iyeoma and other flood-prone areas in Akure, the state capital who spoke with OSRC’s Omorinola Hunngbeji said the move is necessary to prevent a repeat of past havocs wreaked by flood in their areas.
