The Ondo State election petition tribunal has upheld the victory of Oluwarotimi Akeredolu in the October 10 2020 governorship election.
The tribunal dismissed the petition of PDP and it’s candidate, Eyitayo Jegede on the grounds that the issues raised by the petitioner were pre-election matters which the tribunal lacks jurisdiction to entertain.
OSRC’s Richard Ilesanmi reports that the judgment earlier scheduled for Wednesday was rescheduled for Tuesday and delivered via zoom.
