The Ondo State government is to commence channelization of waterways and clearing of drains in Akure metropolis to avert flooding during rainy season.
Commissioner for environment, Sunday Akinwalire disclosed this during an inspection tour of flood prone areas in the Ondo State capital. OSRC’s Joy Pius reports that Akinwalire charged residents on effective waste management.
