The crisis rocking the Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo over unpaid salary arrears has been resolved following the intervention of the Ondo State Government.
At a meeting chaired by the special adviser to Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu on union matters and special duties, Mr Dare Aragbaiye in Akure, the aggrieved parties resolved to give peace a chance and resume harmonious relationship.
Government House correspondent, Wahab Bankole reports that the striking unions agreed to suspend the strike while the institution’s management also promised to lift the ban on activities of industrial unions in the institution.
