Following the protracted crisis in the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) in Ondo State, the Government has set up a 21 member MOTOR PARK MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE to manage and administer all the Public Motor Parks in the State.
The Government noted the unfortunate unending crisis and litigation involving the Union in Court which has adversely affected activities in the Public Motor Parks in the state.
The Government therefore decided to take over all the Public Motor Parks in the State and set-up a Committee to administer same.
The Union’s activities in Public Parks in the State is accordingly suspended.
The newly constituted Park Management Committee has….MR. JACOB ADEBO IDAJO – CHAIRMAN,
EVANG. FESTUS OBASOOTO – VICE CHAIRMAN
BAYODE GBENGA – SECRETARY.
Other members are
GBONYA OYEDEPO ADENIYI,
OLALEKAN AWOJOBI,
OJO OLANIPEKUN,
BAMIDELE OLAPADE,
PASTOR SUNDAY OLAWUYI,
OGEDEGBE OGUNMUYIWA,
ADEMOLA ODUDU,
JONES AKINRINLOLA,
AKINYOSADE AKINLOLU and
EZEKIEL ADEMOLA.
Also to serve in the committee are, JOHNSON AKINRIBISI,
EMIDUN SIMEON,
LAWRENCE IKUOMEHINLO,
OLOWERE AMOS,
TOJUE ATIJOSAN,
OGUNWO OLUSEGUN,
OYEDELE MONEBI and
HIGH CHIEF ARIYO.
The Committee shall report to the Governor of the State through the Office of Special Adviser to the Governor on Union Matters and Special Duties.
