Traditional rulers, community leaders and other stakeholders have hailed the Ondo State Government for its rural transformation initiatives which they said have changed the narratives of their various communities. At an event to mark the 2021 Rural Appreciation Day in Akure, they acknowledged the impacts of various community development projects such as health facilities, roads, electricity and water supply executed in their communities. Government House correspondent, Wahab Bankole reports that the Special Adviser to Governor Akeredolu on rural and community development, Mr Babatunde Kolawole said the state government has through its Community and Social Development Projects (CSDP) delivered 200 transformative micro projects in rural areas across the State.
