Free Eye Care: Lions Club Provides Succour To Akure People

Over 250 persons with different eye defects have benefitted from the free eye assessment outreach facilitated by the past council chairperson Lions Club International Multiple District 404 Nigeria, Olumuyiwa Jegede in Akure the Ondo State capital. The free medical outreach at the Primary Health Care Center, Oke Ijebu saw beneficiaries go home with free eye glasses and medications while others with serious conditions were referred to the UNIMED teaching hospital for eye surgeries.
