The need for women to participate actively in all facets of endeavors has been stressed.
Dignitaries at the opening ceremony of 5th FOWOSO summit held in Akure the Ondo State Capital, while addressing the gathering of participants maintained that the involvement of women in Nation building is the key to societal growth.
Government House Correspondent, Omorinola Hungbeji reports that the founder of the initiative and wife of Ondo state governor, Mrs Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu stated clearly that establishment of FOWOSO initiative is geared towards inspiring women in bridging the gender gap in society.
