FG trains agricultural extension agents in Ondo, targets improvement in food production

No fewer than 75 thousand agricultural extension agents across the nation are being trained by the federal government in a bid to enhance food production and ensure standard agricultural practice in line with modern day techniques.
The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Dr Muhammad Abubakar who spoke at a three day training for extension agents held in Akure, explained that the training is one of several strategies to revitalize the nation’s economy and end youth unemployment through agriculture.
