Educationists want learning through indigenous languages prioritized by government

Educationists have called on government at all levels in Nigeria to prioritize the implementation of the new language policy which mandates the teaching of pupils in primary one to six in their mother tongue or any language dominant in their area.
The call follows recent approval by the federal government for the policy to take effect across the country
