COVID-19: Stakeholders celebrate FUTA don’s success in research

Failure they say is an orphan but excellence attracts a lot of brothers and sisters. This is why authorities and stakeholders at the Federal University of Technology Akure, FUTA are celebrating one of their own, Dr Gideon Idowu who recently won two international grants for research projects probing the ecological impacts of coronavirus. OSRC’s Richard Ilesanmi reports that the 37-year-old first class product of the school has also won local grants to pursue another research project.
