COVID-19: Political parties react to INEC’s decision to continue with Ondo guber election

Like the proverbial different strokes for different folks, the decision of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC to go ahead with its timetable for October 10 Governorship Election in Ondo State despite the COVID-19 pandemic is already generating reactions from political parties. While some parties welcomed INEC’s decision, others expressed reservations on the feasibility of using online platforms to reach the electorates before and during the election in view of the nation’s technological complexities.
