No fewer than five churches were forcefully closed in Akure the Ondo state capital for defiling government’s stay at home directive as part of measures to curb the spread of COVID-19.
Senior Special Assistant to the State Governor on Special Duties and Strategy, Dr Doyin Odebowale who Led the Special Taskforce of the government to enforce the closure order, frowned at the non-compliance attitude by the church leaders.
