The Ondo State Government is to meet the leadership of Hausa/Fulani communities in the state, following the continuous influx of non-residents, especially of northern extraction into the state despite the COVID-19 border closure. The proposed meeting is coming on the heels of the apprehension in Akure after 18 northerners, including 8 children enroute Ondo from Sokoto were smuggled into the state in a cement haulage truck in the middle of the night. OSRC TV Reporter,Shola Ilesanmi reports that the TaskForce on COVID-19 however ensured the travellers were escorted to the Isua Akoko border for onward journey back to the North.
