The Ondo State High Court sitting in Akure has sentenced killers of Mrs Olufunke Olakunrin, daughter of Afenifere leader, Pa Reuben Fasoranti to death by hanging One of them, Àwàlù Abubakar was however discharged and acquitted. Justice William Olamide who handed down the verdict in Friday held that the state prosecution team proved the case of murder against the convicts to satisfaction of the court. OSRC’s Richard Ilesanmi reports that Justice Olamide however tasked the federal government to tackle the security challenges in the country.
