The Ondo state house of assembly has acknowledged the receipt of documents on the controversial N4.3 billion naira anonymously deposited in zenith bank for over ten years.
The speaker, Mr. Bamidele Oleyelogun during plenary said the house was only performing its legislative duties and not probing anyone as being speculated on social media.
House of assembly correspondent, Omosileola Adesoye-Ajayi reports that the house embarked on one-month recess to enable lawmakers sensitize their constituents to the forthcoming local government elections.
