Activities marking the Press week of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Ondo State Council climaxed today Friday( 2nd Dec)with the Dinner &Awards night where members of the pen profession were recognised for their outstanding performance in different beats.
OSRC Media group swooped five of the professional awards with Biodun Omotoso clinching the best TV producer of the year, Sunday Kolawole, Best TV On air personality of the year, Zaheed Aribisala bagged the best political reporter of the year, while Juliet Buna recorded a brace, with best investigative reporter of the year and Broadcast Journalist of the year awards.
The awards presentation was witnessed by the Governor of Ondo State, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN, represented by the Chairman, OSRC media group, Mr Kunle Adebayo who couldn’t hide his ecstasy at the overwhelming representation and recognition of the Media Group at the event.The awardees said the feat would spur them to reach for greater heights in the pen profession.
Present at the award night were, Southwest APC Secretary, Mr Isaacs Kekemeke, Head, Media and Corporate communications,National Space Development and Research Agency NASRDA, Dr Felix Ale and a host of other dignitaries.
