Economic experts have called for the opening of Nigeria’s land borders to lessen the pressure on inadequate locally produced goods.
The call is coming on the heels of the 18.17 percent current inflation rate released by the National Bureau of Statistics.
OSRC’s Richard Ilesanmi reports that the Bureau in its latest inflation figure says the composite food index rose to 22.95 in March.
