The governor of Ondo state, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu said the late emeritus professor of Law, David Ijalaye, SAN, deserves a national honour in recognition of his contributions to the teaching and practice of law in Nigeria.
Government House correspondent, Wahab Bankole reports that Governor Akeredolu during a condolence visit to the family of the deceased in Ile-Ife, Osun state, promised to push for a posthumous national honour for the top-flight scholar who he said produced foremost lawyers and judges for the country.
