The credibility of the latest ranking of Nigeria as 149 out of the 180 countries surveyed by the Transparency International in its latest Corruption Perception Index is still generating comments among Nigerians.
Some public affairs analysts who spoke with OSRC in Akure said the corruption rating is a wake up call for the federal government to further intensify its anti graft war to achieve a sanitized society.
OSRC’s Richard Ilesanmi who examines the Transparency International’s Corruption Perception Index in this report said Nigeria dropped three places from 146 in 2019 to 149 in 2020.
