The Ondo State High Court has terminated a contempt suit against the Speaker of the Ondo state House of Assembly, Bamidele Oleyelogun and three others.
Justice Samuel Bola terminated the suit after warring parties agreed to an amicable position following evidence that the speaker and the house had complied with his earlier order to reinstate four suspended lawmakers.
OSRC’s Shola Ilesanmi reports that the court appreciated efforts of the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Charles Titiloye and others who ensured the amicable resolution of the crisis.
