The absence of some operatives of the defunct Special Anti Robbery Squad led to adjournment of proceedings at the Ondo state Judicial Panel on Police Brutality in alleged cases of extra judicial killings of Christopher Akarewan, Reuben Owoeye and others. Chairman of the Panel, Justice Adesola Sidiq (RTD) who expressed displeasure over the development, called on the commissioner of police to work on the summons and ensure that the affected officers appear on the next adjournment. OSRC’s Olatomiwa Donald-Falayi reports that the panel also attended to 8 other cases involving police brutality and destruction of public properties during the recent EndSars Violence.
