Nigerians want public inputs on controversial Water Resources Bill

Stakeholders in Akure, the Ondo State capital have advised the National Assembly to consider public inputs on the Water Resources Bill before the final passage.

The reintroduction of the bill in the 9th Assembly has since been raising dust with many individuals and groups describing it as a danger to national unity.

OSRC’s Omorinola Hungbeji reports that the Water Resources Bill was rejected by the 8th Assembly in 2018.
