The Ondo State Independent Electoral Commission, ODIEC has declared candidates of the All Progressives Congress, APC winners of Saturday’s chairmanship election in all the 18 local government areas of the state.
ODIEC Chairman, Prof. Yomi Dinakin who announced the results in Akure, said the APC also cleared 199 of 203 wards while 4 councillorship elections were inconclusive due to violence.
Prof. Dinakin said the 4 wards are Akoko South West Ward 9 and 13, Ifedore Ward 1 and Akure North Ward 6 while the Commission will soon communicate a new date for the conclusion of polls in the affected places.
