Ahead the October 10 Ondo governorship election, the Olubaka of Oka land, Oba Adebori Adeleye has called for peace by political parties and their candidates participating in the poll.
Oba Adeleye at the 2020 Oka day commemoration marked on a low key at the new palace ground due to the COVID-19 pandemic, also led prayers for a peaceful election.
Shola Ilesanmi reports that traditional blessings to commence eating of the new yam and scholarship awards to 30 Oka land undergraduates were highlights of the brief ceremony.
