The Traditional Personal Assistant to the Deji of Akure, Chief Taiwo Fagite, opened the floor on the third day of defence as the fourth witness for Prophet Babatunde Alfa in his ongoing trial at an Ondo State High Court in Akure over the disappearance of Gold Kolawole in November 2019. Fagite who was subpoenaed by the court, alleged that parents of the missing boy were not forthcoming after had they reported the incident until they were made to swear an oath at the Deji’s palace alongside 14 teachers in the church. Shola Ilesanmi reports that hearing has been adjourned to July 14, 2020 by Justice Olusegun Odusola following an application by the lead defense counsel, Olusola Oke over ill health after calling the fifth witness.
