In an open letter to the Vice Chancellor of the institution which was made available on the union’s X account on Wednesday, the students’ executive frowned at the hike in tuition saying it has placed undue financial burden on them thereby hindering the pursuit of their education
“We want to emphasize that this is not a mere request, it is a plea representing the unified voice of the student body. If the school fees are not returned to status quo, we regret to inform you that the Student union will be compelled to respond in kind. We cannot guarantee a smooth resumption if this matter is not addressed promptly.”
The Student union wants the fees reverted within by the School management within the next three days.
Also copied in the letter are the Ministry of Education, The Ondo State Commissioner of Police and the Director, Department of State Services, Ondo State
