Over 69,000 candidates sat for the 2023 entrance examination into public schools held across the 18 council areas of Ondo State

The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of education, science and technology, Mrs Folasade Adegoke while monitoring the exercise at some designated centres in Akure expressed delight in the integrity of the entire process which she said has zero tolerance to examination malpractices.

Accreditation of candidates and checking them into the examination halls set the process in motion at all centres across the length and breadth of Ondo state

The candidates were tested in English studies, Mathematics and General knowledge.

At the United High school, Akure and other centres visited by our news crew in the state capital, the conduct of the examination was smooth and hitch-free.

After an assessment tour of the exercise at some centres in Akure, the permanent secretary, Ondo state Ministry of education science and technology, Mrs Folasade Adegoke said the present administration is raising the bar of academic excellence by putting in place an examination process devoid of malpractices.

Earlier on, Ondo State ministry of education, science and technology had promised that the results of the placement examination would be released within 24 hours after its completion.
