Sotitobire Missing Child: Why Court admitted Prophet Babatunde’s statement in DSS custody

Despite the Covid 19 concerns, the trial for founder of Sotitobire Praising Chapel, Prophet Alfa Babatunde, and 6 others over the alleged disappearance of one year old Gold Kolawole in the church last year resumed as scheduled on Monday at an Ondo State High Court sitting in Akure.

During the hearing, a Senior Intelligence Officer with the Department of State Service, DSS, Yomi Olabiyi gave evidence on the statements made by the defendants while in custody of the agency.

OSRC TV Reporter, Shola Ilesanmi reports that at the end of the sitting, trial was again adjourned till the 27th of April 2020, while Prophet Babatunde and his Co-defendants were returned to the Olokuta facility of the Nigerian Correctional Service.
