Residents of Akure the Ondo state capital are lamenting the non-availability of currency notes in most of the ATMs across the state.

The Central Bank of Nigeria had set a deadline of February 10 for the mop up of the old notes in circulation, a move which has led to cash shortage, protests and attacks on banks which have led to the closure of some banks across the country.
