All is set to receive the APC Presidential candidate in the 2023 General elections ,Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who will today,7th January ,lead other national party leaders and stalwarts to Akure the Ondo State capital for a mega rally.
The rally which holds at the MKO Abiola Democracy park is in continuation of the series of such rally across the country and aimed at unveiling the party’s goals, aspirations and objectives for Nigerians if elected in the forthcoming elections.
The frenzy is in the air as Akure welcomes notable and eminent Nigerians with convoys and blaring of sirens pepping up the hustling and bustling of the state capital.
Already, security has been beefed up amidst other preparations to ensure a smooth and successful rally ,while the Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu,SAN in company of the Otunba iyiola omisore had visited the democracy park to ensure the place is ready for the super hosting.
Governor Akeredolu while talking to journalists expressed confidence that today’s event is another major landmark that will see to the electoral victory of the APC in the state, South West and Nigeria as a whole!
He emphasised that APC remains a party to be defeated assuring Nigerians of better days ahead in terms of more transformative and good governance.
Meanwhile adequate measures have also been put in place for effective coverage of the rally scheduled to start at noon.
