Ondo Govt Arraigns two Self Acclaimed Monarchs in Court

Two persons alleged to be parading themselves as Monarchs at Irele in Irele local government area and Igodan lisa in Okitipupa local government area of Ondo State have been arraigned before an Akure magistrates court.
The Ondo State government had ordered the arrest of Adeyemi Akinde and Ademola Oloworiyibi for unlawfully assuming chieftaincy titles and attempting to disrupt public peace.
OSRC’s Odunayo Odeja who monitored the court proceedings reports that 5 high chiefs from Irele were also arraigned before the magistrates court.
