ODSG elevates traditional rulers, bans market closure during festivals

Ondo State Government says there shall be no closure of markets in any part of the state without the approval of the Governor.

This is one of the decisions reached at the weekly council meeting presided over by Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu.

The Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Mrs Bamidele Ademola-Olateju and the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Mr Charles Titiloye, said some traditional rulers across the state were upgraded while some Chiefs also got the status of Obas in various communities .
