The two sides to the Ilado-Igbatoro community chieftaincy controversy are yet to agree on the way out on the crisis caused by the removal of the Olu, Chief Kayode Ajomole. His removal was ordered by the Deji of Akure, Oba Aladetoyinbo Aladelusi who claimed it was in accordance with the power rested on him as the paramount ruler of akure kingdom. On the other hand, OSRC’s Richard Ilesanmi reports that the chairman of Akure North Local Government, Bankole Ogbesetore faulted the action saying the monarch lacks the power to remove the head of a community outside his domain.
