Owo churches record low turnout of worshippers one week after terror attack

One week after suspected terrorists attacked St. Francis Catholic Church, Owo in Ondo State that left 40 people dead, most Churches in the town recorded low turnout of worshippers

While service did not hold in the attacked Church on Sunday, June 12, very few worshippers turned up for service in some of the mega churches in the town for fear of attack.

OSRC’s Richard Ilesanmi who monitored Sunday service in the town reports that messages from the pulpits centered on courage and comfort with a call on believers to renew and sustain their faith in God regardless of the situation.
