Governor’s broadcast: Arakunrin Akeredolu reinstates commitment to safety of Ondo state

The Governor of Ondo State, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu says the unprovoked attack and killing of innocent worshippers at St. Francis Catholic Church in Owo was an assault on the collective psyche of the people of the state.

The Governor during a state broadcast described the attack as a personal loss and national tragedy, noting that it was a calculated assault on the peace-loving people of Owo the people of Ondo state, who have enjoyed relative peace over the years.

According to him, the ripple impact of the heinous act and the angry reaction across the state could not have been different.
