An Akure Magistrate Court has sentenced Mrs Opeyemi Omoyemi to four and a half years in prison on for inflicting injuries on a 12 year old, Joel Sunday.
While handing down the judgement, Mrs Oluwafunmilayo Edwin, found the accused guilty of all charges.
OSRC’s Omorinola Hungbeji reports that the two jail term would be run con-currently as the children of the convict have been taken over by the state Ministry of Women Affairs till she returns from the prison.
