Government steps up campaign against indiscriminate dumping of refuse in Ondo

Campaign against indiscriminate dumping of refuse is being intensified in Ondo State especially in Akure, the state capital to restore the serenity of the metropolis robbed off by heap of wastes. The General Manager of the State Waste Management Authority, Mrs Ayo Adeyemo who led the sensitization team warned that that government would henceforth enforce compliance to environmental laws. OSRC’s Joy Pius reports that the sensitisation and enforcement tour took the team round major streets and markets in Akure.
