Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa’s address at the Government House Chapel invoked a sense of renewed hope and purpose as prayers for guidance and wisdom permeated the service, anchored by Pastor Abiodun Adewumi’s sermon on human actions, referencing 1st Kings 3 vs 16.

Surrounded by esteemed ministers, including Chaplain Rev. Father Babalola Benjamin and Assistant Chaplain Rev. Enoch, Governor Aiyedatiwa expressed profound gratitude for the community’s unwavering support throughout 2023.

His tribute to the late leader, Arakunrin Akeredolu, stressed the impactful legacy and vision left behind, calling for its continuation in the state’s governance.

Reflecting on the challenges faced during the late governor’s tenure and subsequent political stability, Governor Aiyedatiwa praised the restoration of peace, emphasizing the pivotal role it plays in effective governance.

With an eye toward the future, Governor Aiyedatiwa instilled a sense of optimism for 2024, emphasizing the anticipation of progress and growth.

He commended the invaluable contributions of women and solicited prayers for the late governor’s burial.

Further, he vowed to honor commitments to complete ongoing projects initiated by his predecessor, placing emphasis on the Araromi Lekki bridge and other pending infrastructure developments across Ondo State.
