Ondo State Police Command has formally solicited the assistance of kindhearted citizens with a view to unraveling the mysteries behind the sudden disappearance of a child from a popular church in Akure.

A statement by the police public relations officer, Mr Femi Joseph said the little boy named Kolawole Gold was last seen at a programme held at the worship centre in Oshinle Quarters of Akure, the state capital a couple of weeks back.

While adding that the yet- to -be – found one year old boy is light in complexion and understands both Yoruba and English languages, the police image maker advised anyone with useful information about his whereabouts to please contact the nearest police station without delay.

The command mouthpiece also said detectives have since launched an investigation into the unfortunate incident expressing hope that the boy will be found and reunited with his worried parents in the nearest time possible.
